Richard Register is a building designer and builder and the author of Another Beginning, Ecocity Berkeley - Building Cities for a Healthy Future, and soon to be published Ecocities. He is founder of Urban Ecology, Inc. and Ecocity Builders, Inc. and convener of the First International Ecocity Conference. He arrives here in Austria immediately after the opening of his one man show of drawings at the Santa Clara University in California, "Creating the Ecological City - The Role of the Imagination."
